Grid Defense — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Grid Defense ("the app") is a single-player tower-defense game by Dimitar Porkov (Core Theory). It has no account and no login. This policy explains the one small piece of data the app handles.

What we collect

The only data that leaves your device is tied to the optional online leaderboard, and only in the full (purchased) game:

That is the entirety of what we collect.

What we do not collect

We show no ads, use no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and never sell or share your data.

How the leaderboard data is used

Solely to operate the public leaderboard (to display rankings). Submitted display names are filtered for inappropriate content, and an in-app "report" control lets players flag names for review.

Data retention & removal

Leaderboard entries (display name + score) are kept to maintain the rankings. To request removal of an entry, contact us at the address below.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only user-provided data is an optional, self-chosen leaderboard nickname.

Security

All leaderboard submissions are transmitted over HTTPS.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published at this URL.
